For the past ten years the Sydney Institute of Professional Studies (SIPS) has been assisting people advance their occupational ambitions through professional development programs in the fields of business and government. Each year over three hundred students complete a qualification or professional studies course with SIPS. Our training and assessment programs are specifically designed for currently employed people and as such take into account a level of assumed knowledge on workplace and organisational processes. In this regard our programs are less suitable for school-leavers or people relatively new to the workplace who may find courses conducted by TAFE or University more compatible with their learning needs.
